Acceptable Use

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) defines the standards of behavior and technical practices required when accessing or using the Retrowise public website and cloud-based software platform (“Services”).

The Policy ensures the integrity, security, and lawful use of Retrowise’s technology environment and related materials.

2. Definitions

  • “Services” refers to the Retrowise software platform, the Retrowise public website (including all subdomains and web pages under retrowisesolution.com), and any related tools, integrations, APIs, documents, user guides, marketing materials, or online resources made available by Retrowise LLC.
  • “Client” means any individual or organization with authorized access to the Services.
  • “Client Data” means any data, files, or information uploaded, processed, or stored by a User within the Retrowise platform.

3. Scope

This Policy applies to all Users, Clients, and visitors who access the Retrowise website or Services, including any affiliated entities, partners, or third parties granted access.

4. Responsible Use

Users and visitors must:

  • Access and use the Services solely for legitimate, professional business purposes.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of login credentials and account information.
  • Upload or share only accurate, lawful, and authorized data.
  • Comply with this Policy, the Terms & Conditions, and all applicable laws and regulations.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You may not use the Retrowise website or Services to:

  • Break any law or regulation.
  • Compromise security: attempt to probe, scan, or test any Retrowise system or network without authorization.
  • Access unauthorized data: attempt to access or interfere with another client’s account, data, or configuration.
  • Disrupt services: deploy scripts, bots, or actions that degrade performance or availability of the website or platform.
  • Manipulate calculations: misuse or distribute intentionally misleading formula logic within the calculation engine.
  • Send unauthorized communications: use contact forms, reports, or integrated email tools to send spam, marketing, or unrelated messages.
  • Infringe rights: upload or distribute content that violates confidentiality, copyright, or intellectual property rights.
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation with another person or organization.
  • Interfere with normal website operation, including scraping, data harvesting, or copying documentation or marketing content without authorization.

6. Data Security and Privacy

  • Retrowise LLC does not access, review, or use Client Data stored within the platform.
  • Data is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) with encryption in transit (SSL/TLS) and at rest.
  • Each client’s data is logically segregated and stored in isolated environments.
  • Users and visitors must not attempt to bypass, disable, or interfere with Retrowise’s built-in security protections or authentication systems.

7. System Integrity and API Usage

  • Users may not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code from the Services or website.
  • Any automated integration or API use must comply with published limits and technical guidelines.
  • Excessive or abusive requests, scraping, or data extraction from the website or platform are strictly prohibited.

8. Monitoring and Enforcement

Retrowise monitors website and platform activity as necessary for security, compliance, and performance management. If a potential violation is detected, Retrowise may:

  • Suspend or limit access to the website or Services,
  • Disable or remove offending content, or
  • Report unlawful activity to appropriate authorities.

In non-critical cases, Retrowise will notify the user and provide a reasonable opportunity to correct violations before suspension.

9. Complaints and Reporting Violations

All complaints will be reviewed promptly in accordance with Retrowise’s internal compliance and incident-response procedures.

10. Consequences of Violation

Violations of this Policy may result in:

  • Immediate suspension or termination of website or platform access,
  • Legal action or cooperation with law enforcement, and/or
  • Recovery of any damages or costs incurred by Retrowise LLC.

11. Updates

This Policy may be updated periodically to reflect operational, legal, or technical changes. The latest version will always be available at retrowisesolution.com. Continued use of the website or Services after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.

12. Governing Law and Severability

This Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If any provision of this Policy is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
