Retrowise LLC (“Retrowise”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) values your privacy and is committed to protecting personal information entrusted to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information through our public website and software platform (collectively, the “Services”). By using our Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Services.

This Privacy Policy applies to:

  • Visitors to the Retrowise website (retrowisesolution.com and its subdomains).
  • Registered Clients using the Retrowise cloud-based platform.
  • Any communications, documents, or materials provided by Retrowise LLC.

This Policy does not apply to information stored or processed independently by Clients within their own segregated environments on the Retrowise platform.

3. Information We Collect

Retrowise collects only limited business and technical information necessary to provide and improve our Services. We do not collect or access the financial, portfolio, or investor data uploaded by Clients into their own accounts.

(a) Information You Provide

  • Business contact details (name, email, company, role).
  • Account registration and login credentials.
  • Payment and billing information (processed via secure third-party providers).
  • Support requests, form submissions, or feedback.

(b) Information Collected Automatically

  • Device and browser information (e.g., IP address, OS type, referring site).
  • Usage and performance data to maintain system reliability.
  • Cookies and analytics data (see Section 10).

(c) Information from Third Parties

We may receive limited business contact information from referral partners or marketing platforms, in compliance with applicable laws.

4. Client Data and Platform Usage

Retrowise acts as a data processor and platform provider, not a data controller, for the financial or operational data uploaded by Clients.

  • No Access: Retrowise does not access, view, or use Client Data.
  • Data Segregation: Each Client’s data is stored in a logically segregated environment under their exclusive control.
  • Hosting: All platform data is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS), encrypted in transit (SSL/TLS) and at rest.
  • Responsibility: Clients are responsible for managing, updating, and exporting their own data.

Retrowise cannot retrieve or provide copies of Client Data, even upon request, as it remains encrypted and inaccessible to our personnel.

5. How We Use Information

We use collected information only for legitimate business purposes, including to:

  • Provide and maintain the Services.
  • Communicate with Clients (support, billing, updates).
  • Improve performance, security, and user experience.
  • Send service or promotional communications (with opt-out options).
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information for marketing or commercial gain.

6. Legal Basis for Processing (EU/UK Users)

If you are based in the European Union or United Kingdom, our legal basis for processing includes:

  • Contractual necessity (to provide the Services).

  • Provide the Services,

  • Resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.

Technical logs and analytics data may be retained temporarily for security and performance optimization.Client Data within the platform is retained or deleted according to the Client’s own configuration.

9. Data Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect all data, including:

  • Encryption at rest and in transit (SSL/TLS).
  • Access controls with OAuth 2.0 authentication (Auth0).
  • Network isolation and role-based permissions.
  • Automated AWS backups and monitoring.

Despite our safeguards, no online system is fully immune to risks. Clients are responsible for maintaining the security of their login credentials and internal data management.

10. Cookies and Analytics

Retrowise uses cookies and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to improve site performance and user experience. Cookies may collect anonymized usage statistics and device information. You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings. If you are located in the EU or UK, you may also encounter a cookie banner to manage consent preferences.

11. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

Our Services are intended for business and professional users only and are not directed toward children under 16. We do not knowingly collect or process children’s personal information.
